Our Quick Commerce division is dedicated to bringing customers their everyday needs in the quickest way possible. We're currently seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer to join our team and help us continue to revolutionize the world of quick commerce.
As an Staff Analytics Engineer (all genders) in the Quick Commerce division, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining the data models that drive our data-driven decision-making process. You will work closely with our product and analyst teams to develop and implement data pipelines, data models, and analytics solutions that drive our business.
Our stack & current state:
In Delivery Hero you are going to work in a fast-paced environment, becoming a part of the newly formed Analytics Engineering function. You will contribute to forming and improving our huge data model setup located in Google Cloud and powered by Apache Spark and Airflow by breaking down the complexities, identifying friction points, refactoring for better performance, and ensuring its scalability. You are also going to be responsible for designing and promoting best coding practices, as well as taking part in the standardization routines for data foundations, business intelligence and data science. Establishing Data Contracts between numerous Domain Data Units and shaping the ways-of-working between various stakeholder groups are also going to be a part of your everyday tasks. On the analytics side, you will be closely working with Looker and Tableau, which are the main tools to present insights to our business stakeholders.

Your mission:

Design and implement data pipelines, data models, and analytics solutions which will be used in DataMesh.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to define data requirements, and develop data models.

Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes that ensure data quality and integrity, while minimizing latency and processing times.

Create data dashboards that provide insights to stakeholders across the organization, using tools such as Tableau, Looker.

Monitor and optimize data pipelines, queries, and database performance to ensure high availability and low latency.

Collaborate with data engineers to develop and maintain data catalogs, data access controls, and other governance-related processes.

Continuously explore new technologies and techniques to improve data engineering processes and ensure that the organization remains at the forefront of data-driven decision making.

Mentor and provide guidance to other analytics members
Your heroic skills:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

6+ years of experience in data analytics and engineering or a related field, with a focus on developing and maintaining large-scale data pipelines.

Proven ability to design and build complex data modeling in DataMesh.

Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, and/or Java.

Experience with ETL tools such as Apache Airflow, Apache Kafka, or AWS Glue.

Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.

Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as GCP, or AWS.

Experience with implementing the Data Mesh model in a production environment, along with Data lakes.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Professional working experience in the E-Commerce sector is a plus.
