Position

It is an exciting time to join IMCD, as we continue along our Digital Transformation journey. As Business Analyst you will play an integral role in supporting a fast growing business, by working closely with global, regional and local colleagues and be a valuable addition to our team in the Business Group Industrial Solutions. In joining IMCD you will have the opportunity to make a real impact, and to be an ambassador for Digital Transformation for the business group globally, while collaborating with highly knowledgeable and passionate people in offices around the world. You will report directly to the Business Group Director Industrial Solutions. This role will be based in Cologne.

Postion responsibilities

• Lead Digital Transformation in the Business Group Industrial Solutions
• Support all ongoing and future business group relevant projects in the aspect of digitalization, such as product data structure, B2B portal, country websites etc.
• Support to establish, implement and optimize internal reporting processes from country business units and IPMs in the business group
• Work with relevant stakeholders in the business group to set up and execute a standardized business analysis model across countries and principals
• Represent and translate the needs of the business group into digital solutions by working with the corporate digital and IT teams
• Monitor and maintain data integrity and quality in the business group by communicating closely with all relevant stakeholders
• Provide guidance and consultation throughout the digital transformation period to global and local colleagues
• Integrate business group content into MyIMCD, MyInsights, and the guided selling tool
• Support marketing with related business figures to create the relevant presentations, tools etc.

Position profile

• Bachelor’s degree
• Proven track record and demonstrated experience in a similar role
• Solid knowledge of CRM and BI tools, experience with Salesforce, Tableau is a plus
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced international work environment
• Strong communicator, problem-solver
• Strong team player, comfortably to liaise with stakeholders from different functions and countries
• Entrepreneurial mindset and self-starter
• Fluent in English speaking and writing, German is a plus
