Under supervision of the Medical Advisor, Medical Excellence the intern will support the work of scientific/medical advisors in various areas such as coordination and generation of standard medical information content for medical information requests, review and approval process of promotional materials and medical communication related documents and the delivery of publication-related deliverables (MSL Decks, Scientific Communication Platforms etc).
S/he will gain insight into the work activities of Medical Affairs as well as other departments such as Customer Engagement, Market Access, Quality and Regulatory Affairs.
Essential Functions of the job:
Under supervision of the Medical Advisor, Medical Excellence the intern will
- assist in developing and maintaining internal literature databases/collections
- conduct literature searches in (internal) databases and process medical-scientific content
- provide medical information support to the field medical team to fulfil unsolicited medical information requests from both healthcare professionals (HCPs) and non-HCPs
- assist in generating, reviewing and approving medical communication related documents; e.g. scripted responses, Q&As, handling and admin guidelines, stability guidelines, FAQs, standard response letters, etc.
- contribute to the process of developing product materials and claims in line with scientific research and legal frameworks
- participate in ongoing projects such as content creation for internal newsletters
