We are currently seeking a Field Application Scientist (f/m/d) who will be responsible for supporting our clients with applications on our Microbioreactor system, promoting the company’s products and services and act as the direct contact person for our customers when it comes to scientific and application related questions.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Provide applications support to existing and new customers.
Pair up with sales team for pre-sales presentations and serve as scientific and technical resource.
Understand the scope of customer projects and be able to support customer workflows.
Troubleshoot and diagnose application issues.
Plan and execute product demonstrations for potential customers.
Develop new applications through industrial and academic network.
Provide customer training and support; maintain positive customer relations.
Be prepared for up to 50% overnight domestic and international travel, sometimes on short notice.
The required qualifications for the job include:
University degree in biological sciences, biotechnology or a related field.
A background and experience in microbial fermentation.
High degree of self-motivation, independency and proactive attitude.
Must possess a valid driving license.
Language skills: Fluency in French and English is required for this role, any other additional European language is beneficial
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
technical or applications support within a life science company
knowledge about the markets of food and beverage, agriculture, microbiome, and synthetic biology research environment
