Country Sales Manager
Northwave is looking for a Country Sales Manager: main focus in the German and Austrian market.

Job Description
The candidate, reporting directly to the Global Sales & Marketing Manager, will be responsible for the following activities:

Development and management of the distribution strategy plan for the German and Austrian market.
Be responsible for the strategy execution, monitoring of plans, managing budget.
Improve and maintain excellent communication with Team members to achieve company goals.
Support and lead the sales force with Key-accounts.
Be proactive to optimize business, processes & organizational development.
Be the driving force behind acquiring new customers and nurturing existing relationships.
Part time (5% time) regulation of administrative works (authorities, banks, legal and tax consultancy).
Analyse, forecast and project seasonal/annual sales objectives by accounts and product categories.

Experience and skills

5-8 years’ experience in similar role in an international company in the sport industry (Country Sales Manager / Sales Manager / Sales & Marketing Manager).
Affinity for Cycling and Snowboard industry (technical knowledge of these categories is a plus).
Strong experience in wholesale business management and development.
Strong analytical skills to analyse the markets, build excellent plans and achieve long-term results.
Experience in coordinating a team.
Excellence at forecasting and planning.
Open to frequently travel along with the Sales Team.
Open to travel to HQ (once a month).
Open-minded, flexibility, positive attitude and cross-cultural communication.
German Nationality and excellent knowledge of English.
