Are you passionate about pricing? In this global lead role, you have the opportunity to refine the way we do pricing in ophthalmology (OPT) and enable significant value capturing. You partner with colleagues from other functions – including global and local country roles - to define pricing strategy, governance, provide tools and expertise for price setting and monitor price realization

Your role

Owns and defines the OPT pricing vision and strategy and long-term roadmap
Identify, launch and manage cross-cutting strategic and operational projects to improve pricing at OPT
Defines future pricing/business models
Drives pricing governance and cross-functional alignments including global functions as well as country organizations
Develops new pricing capabilities for the organization and trains the organization to capture additional value
Leads a cross-functional pricing council to take strategic pricing decisions
Establishes a network of pricing champions in the country organizations
Monitors price realization
Defines requirements for business data analytics, digital customer interaction, marketing insights and works with countries to increase data availability for value-based price setting

Your profile

Diploma or master's degree in Business or Life Sciences or similar
5-10 years of work experience, thereof at least three in management consultancy or pricing in corporate environment
Experience in pricing in an B2B environment, profound knowledge of pricing methodologies
Previous experience in strategic functions, demonstrating analytical thinking and problem-solving
Strong entrepreneurial and solution-oriented mindset
Strong lateral leadership, track record of managing complex projects and reaching alignments in a matrix organization
Proven record of acting as a change agent
Fluent in English, ability to speak additional languages a plus
Flexible and willing to travel internationally
Experience with business cases/business models is a plus
Experience in health care is a plus
