Within our Technical Support team we are now hiring a Project Manager for digitalizing installation processes to help drive a new innovative project and its related optimizations during installations of onshore windfarms. This role will be a partner to external and internal stakeholders.
How to contribute to our vision
In this position you will be mainly a key member of an innovation project that will leverage sensor and camera data in combination with artificial intelligence to improve our construction processes, make work safer and professionalize commercial handling of site activities. As a Project Manager you will coordinate, pilot and evaluate solutions together with an external technology partner. The work will take place in different ongoing customer projects with different installation progress. You will be the main interface between the external partners, the project teams and internal construction stakeholders. Overall, the Project Manager implements superior Industrial Engineering (IE) policies and standards, and oversees and manages related engineering activities (e.g. equipment layout, workflow design, and accidental prevention measures), within assigned tasks. In addition, you support on general organizational or improvement tasks within the Technical Support team.
As Installation Digitalization Project Manager your responsibilities include:
- Coordinate design requirements, support field tests and prepare status reports
- Identify technology potential for the improvement of construction processes
- Analyze benefits and costs of the technologies tested and support on developing business cases
- Propose and implement improvements on site and portfolio level
- Prepare and drive decisions with project steering committee
- Design and plan integration of new technologies into existing construction standards
- Stakeholder management: Ensure interests of internal and external parties are considered and implemented
- Ensure process documentation and implementation
What you need to make a difference
- Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.
- You hold a university degree within engineering combined with digital development experience and a strong project management back ground.
- Wind industry experience, as well as in the construction of wind turbines would be an advantage
- It is important you have proven experience in managing interests of different stakeholders and interfaces, internally as well as externally.
- As a person you are open minded, positive, proactive, motivating and self-determined.
- You take responsibility for your work; you value people and you possess strong innovative orientation & strong decision making.
- You bring analytical thinking and challenge status quo
- You are familiar with working in an international environment and large organizations and possess excellent English skills both orally and in writing.Good knowledge of Microsoft Office environment and potentially TeamCenter, SAP or PowerApps
