Good storytelling starts with great listening. At Audible, that means each role and every project has our audience in mind. Because the same people who design, develop, and deploy our products also happen to use them. To us, that speaks volumes.
ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Associate Director, Marketing Operations is a highly detail-oriented marketer with a combination of proven strategic thinking and execution skill. You will work closely with various business stakeholders to develop varied solutions ranging from automation, optimization, and performance improvement for strategic business and marketing programs. If you are the type of person that can hear a problem that someone is trying to solve, or describing the campaign they want to execute, and your mind immediately starts thinking about how you can solve that problem and recommend ways to maximize the campaign’s intent, then you just might be who we’re looking for.
ABOUT YOU
You understand how to get different technologies and teams to work well together. You are technically savvy to dive into data and analytics, and marketing savvy to translate marketing inputs into campaign requirements. You are process oriented and not afraid to dig into our business to learn how things are done in order to teach others how to do it. You have a passion to dive deep, strong project management skills, and a focus on simplification and optimization. You are a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, and ability to execute a strategic marketing vision. You successfully work across time zones and marketplaces to create efficiencies through process improvements, technical or otherwise.
As an Associate Director, Marketing Operations, you will...
- Drive effective teamwork and communication across teams by prioritizing work, creating documentation, and managing workflows across several marketing channels including Audible and Amazon surfaces (site and app) and email and push notifications
- Serve as the point of contact and subject matter expert for our team of marketing automation specialists for the entire marketing campaign process, from briefing to execution through to reporting and analysis
- Gather, clarify, and document requirements for the systems, tools, and processes needed to support marketing goals across multiple regions including USA, EU and UK
- Drive improvements to tools, methods, and processes through effective communication, stakeholder management, and documentation
