As an
Application Engineer Simulations, you will play a huge part in the technological revolution on fundamentally changing the way that batteries are being designed and produced. Under the umbrella of the Automation market leader, you will act in the startup-like environment defining forward looking strategies, investigating new opportunities, and developing most impactful technologies that will pave the way in the industry for decades ahead.
- Identify and describe manufacturing process by creating detailed process simulation based on the engineering data and machine physics
- Create detailed multidomain simulation models and mechatronic concepts with the goal to improve machine execution processes
- Integrate simulation models with the goal to execute them on the machine using industrial IoT solutions together with Automation Software Product owner
- Research, benchmark and summarize capabilities and features, differences and key value points of various design tools existing on the market
- Transfer theoretical know-how into an applicable simulation methodology/solvers to help application engineers create necessary executable functions
- Be the interface between customer discovery and internal development, translating user requirements into feature specifications incl. prioritization
- Overseeing all stages of product creation including architecture design and development and define scalable roadmap and user stories based on the vision of the product
- Manage the product backlog and prioritizing it based on changing requirements
- Act as project manager coordinating with cross functional development teams and commissioning teams for pilot execution
You will have impact to move the world forward! - Master's or PhD degree in Computational Modelling, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Some years of experience and strong knowledge in simulation of physical processes, systems simulations and multiphysics
- Pragmatic and structured thinking and acting is your landmark that has proven to your customers that you can make the difference
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate your reasoning clearly
