Reports To: Head of International Compliance & Senior Compliance Officer: International
Key Relationships: Head of Cross-Border, Senior Compliance Officers – International, Global Compliance advisory team, Compliance Manager; BIDAC, Senior Compliance Officer BIDAC, 2nd Line Assurance, Underwriters, Finance, Financial Crime team, Internal Audit, Culture and People, Risk Management, local regulatory authorities, outside legal counsel, Corporate Development and other internal stakeholders
Job Summary: Provide compliance/ regulatory advice and assurance on cross-border (international) insurance transactions, focussing on underwriting and claims everywhere Beazley transacts insurance. As a Compliance Officer in the International & Cross-border team you are expected to work on compliance matters that impact the group from a strategic and regulatory standpoint. You will be expected to develop your understanding of international compliance with emphasis on the German market and Europe specifically France/Spain and provide sufficient oversight in your assigned area/ key markets.
Your role will focus on ensuring compliance elements of the German branches of Beazley are being fulfilled from a regulatory standpoint. Working on licensing and the effectiveness of the implementation of the advice provided; this will be led by senior compliance officers within the international compliance team. As a Compliance Officer this role will also provide support and work with senior compliance officers in the team and business partnering of trading teams such as the cyber team.
