We are looking for a

Consumer Activation Manager (m/f/d)

as of now to strengthen our Marketing department in Cologne.

You will operate within the Consumer Activation team in the Marketing department contributing to the success of our 1-2-1 activities in Germany, developing our overall activation initiatives, and being responsible for multi-brand initiatives and projects in the areas of promotions, road shows and events.

We are looking for an experienced activation manager who is passionate about brands and consumers and is constantly striving to use this knowledge to enhance and optimize the mechanics and the execution of JTI’s 1-2-1 operations. You will join a dynamic, diverse team in a fast-paced environment. You will have the opportunity to test new and progressive ways of activating brands and categories

Your tasks – exciting and diverse

• Manage consistent consumer activation programs for all JTI brands in respective activation channels i.e., 1-2-1 promotions
• Briefing of agencies in the development of tailored and innovative programs
• Transfer brand objectives and insights into target group relevant activities
• Work according to brand guidelines, legal boundaries and ensure consistent program implementation as well as on-time deliveries.
• Ensure an ongoing alignment between respective teams in Marketing & Sales departments
• Supervise and manage budget for respective areas of responsibility
• Monitor and evaluate executed programs vs. defined KPIs
• Support the Consumer Activation Lead in strategic planning, provide necessary input for local and global meetings
• Develop recommendations for improvements or innovations within your area of responsibility
• Analyze market and consumer data to understand trends and competitor activities
• Identify opportunities for future exploration

Your talent – communication and organization

• University degree in Marketing or related fields
• Diverse work experience, preferably in consumer activation, promotion and communication
• Good financial, controlling, and analytical skills
• Strong experience in project and agency management
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the FMCG / tobacco industry is a plus
• Precise working approach with high demands on own work quality
• Good interpersonal skills, open-minded, quick learner
• Desire to contribute your own ideas
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly PowerPoint, but also Word, Excel, Outlook
• Fluent in English and German, written and spoken
