To meet our due diligence obligations, we are seeking to strengthen our Back Office Services team of RWE Supply and Trading GmBh in London (United Kingdom), Swindon (United Kingdom) or Essen (Germany). In our highly digitalised environment, you will support the smooth operation of our due diligence processes, thus setting the stage for a successful and duly execution of our international energy trading business.
Take responsibility in the due diligence domain and support with responding to “Know-Your-Customer” requests, which cover amongst others company organisation, financial-, regulatory-, sustainability-, and/or IT data protection-related matters, for example:
- Pro-actively participate in our company processes, not least as a trainer, gate keeper and facilitator of those processes
- Track tasks and progress of processes, and ensure that due dates as well as internal and external guidelines and regulatory requirements are met
- Correspond with internal and external stakeholders and counterparties, both verbally and in writing, incl. filing and archiving in a structured manner, maintaining of process-relevant data, and creation of regular reports
- Document best practices and processes, maintain wiki pages and team/process boards, create presentations and training documents
- Establish and maintain close and sustainable relationships to process participants from other departments, e.g. by organising and facilitating regular knowledge sharing and feedback sessions
Your powerful skills
- You’ve got a degree in business administration (or in the legal domain)
- You like digging into complex matters and to scrutinise them, and to acquire in-depth knowledge about regulatory matters and guidelines in an autodidactic manner
- You find it easy to successfully share your knowledge (and others would confirm), and you enjoy to document and present it
- You welcome new technologies that facilitate your work, that of others, as well as your collaboration with one another
- Even in times of high workload, you show high organisational skills, very good time management, and you think ahead and step in the shoes of others
- You enjoy close collaboration with others and have proven your social competence together with discrete and diplomatic behaviour
- You are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing
- You are willing to travel (also abroad)
Advantageous, but not a must
- Fluent in German is a plus
