About You
As a Reliability Engineer in our Koblenz Mill, you'll keep assets running reliably, improve work efficiency and eliminate non-value-added work. You will also be responsible for the development and implementation of a 3-year plan to increase the reliability of the Koblenz site.
You will report to the Team Leader Safety, Environment & Engineering and you will be an individual contributor (no direct reports).
YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Developing and implementing a 3-years plan to increase site reliability and managing a condition-based monitoring strategy
Performing root cause analysis on major failures
Developing and implementing the CBM (Condition-Based Monitoring) program and identify and coordinate training needs for CBM and reliability systems and maintenance competencies.
Collaborating and sharing with plant executives and international teams, assisting in the development of reliability competencies in the plant
Collaborating with production managers to effectively execute all shutdowns
Collaborating with purchasing / warehouse to optimize supplier & warehouse techniques
Continuously evaluating the effectiveness of the reliability strategy, by measuring performance against identified reliability metrics.
Effectively managing all maintenance spend against identified KPI's.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
Bachelors or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering or a related discipline
Relevant previous experience in a similar role or in maintenance, ideally in the paper industry
Knowledge and experience in LEAN practices/manufacturing.
SAP experience is preferred.
Good leadership and communication skills.
Highly motivated, structured and looking forward to taking on a challenging role in a global corporation.
Languages: German native and English fluent
