We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Parts Manager for Aftermarket Parts Sales at Genie, (Terex AWP), with a particular focus on the Germany, Austria, Switzerland region. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and refining the distribution network for aftermarket parts related to all Terex Aerial Work Platform (AWP) products, specifically within the German speaking market. Your mission will be to drive continued business expansion within your assigned region, industry, or national accounts in Germany. Fluent German language skills are a must, as you will meticulously target the Germany, Austria, Switzerland marketplace, identifying and cultivating partnerships with the best companies to bolster our parts business. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will coordinate development efforts with other Genie functions and act as a crucial link in escalating issues related to Genie parts. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to educate Genie customers in the German market on the value proposition of our aftermarket parts and actively contribute to identifying new and exciting business opportunities. Essential Functions (Listed in order of % of time):
- Parts Sales: ensures business growth in assigned region, industry or national account.
- Identifies potential new customers and products.
- Contacts existing customers on a regular basis.
- Coordinates development efforts with other Genie functions such as machine sales, customer service, marketing, operations, and warranty.
- Ensures customers understand Genie parts and warranty processes.
- Trains customers on products, service, warranties, and technical support.
- Assists customers with business planning and development of Genie parts business.
- Collects feedback on products and services and conveys information to relevant team members for research and consideration.
- Provides customers with information on parts usage, trends, and service level.
- Formally communicates to dealers on all appropriate matters.
- Presides at trade shows, coordinating business development and educational activities with assigned customers and contacts.
- Keeps accurate record of customer communications.
- Maintains a high professional image and appearance with self and Genie vehicles
- Controls expenses per agreed-upon budget.
- Performs other duties as assigned that support the overall objective of the position.
Education / qualifications / Experience:
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree/HNC in Engineering or Business-related degree would be desirable
- Previous experience of providing Aftermarket Part Sales is essential
- experience in a commercial customer-facing role is essential
- Excellent written and verbal Communication is essential
- Fluency in English and German is mandatory, knowledge/fluency in French, Italian is beneficial

Working Conditions:
