Having doubled the size of the team twice in the past few years, the company is now set for further expansion, as the deployment of their solution across multiple new customers gathers pace.
As a growing organisation, with an increasing number of clients, the difficulty of managing the business has increased and furthermore the challenges delivering projects with partners like CapGemini, also increased the complexity of serving customers. To develop an organisational structure that can scale, while also supporting the increasing complexity of multiple stakeholder customer projects, the CEO has taken the decision to recruit a COO to join the leadership team.
The role of Chief Operating Officer will take responsibility for the Customer Success team, Partner Management, Controlling and potentially Human Resources. Further growth is planned and essential in both Customer Success and Partner Management. Experience of leading and growing customer facing teams in a rapidly changing environment is therefore important.
In particular, Partner Management, has become a critical part of the Go-To-Market strategy. With key projects being delivered by partners like CapGemini, managing issues and providing consistent oversight and leadership to customer projects will also be critical to success.
The COO will help embed the right structures inside the organization to scale, while also overseeing and leading key relationships and projects with partners. They will be an effective leader, skilled in stakeholder management and excel in complex project management.
The individual would ideally have experience working for a hi-tech start-up/scale-up and have been through the challenges of rapid scaling before.
They will ideally speak native German and be based in, or prepared to travel regularly to, Berlin and/or Hamburg.
