Our Business: The Germany / Austria coverage team is responsible for German and Austrian based HQ Corporates. The Payments Corporate & e-Commerce Sales role and responsibility entails developing new business from existing client relationships as well as prospective clients. The Payments Corporate & e-Commerce Sales team is closely aligned with the Global Corporate Bank, the Investment Bank and various other Payments Product verticals, such as Trade & Working Capital and Merchant Services, in delivering innovative transaction banking solutions to J.P. Morgan's clients. This includes marketing the firm's in-country capabilities as well as growing cross-border revenue.
Job Description: This is an exciting opportunity to join the Payments Corporate & e-Commerce Sales team. Based in Frankfurt, you will take on responsibility for providing support to the Payments Sales Managers to manage client relationships and drive sales. This encompasses client and market intelligence for new and existing clients along with supporting the sales team's various requirements , such as managing pipeline report, deal execution, pricing and fee billing support, preparing client pitching materials and other related matters.
The working student position provides suitably qualified candidates with an excellent opportunity to obtain front office experience interacting with clients, corporate bankers, product, client service, implementation and other functions. The Frankfurt-basing you will be part of a wider team of Payments Corporate & e-Commerce Sales in EMEA and will interact, learn and develop with them.
Job Responsibilities: - Support Sales team on sales pitch materials, understand/build pricing and profitability models, support RFP/RFI submissions, etc.
- Prepare client research, industry analysis and project assignments
- Assist Sales team to ensure that clients are receiving agreed services
- Review and analyze transactional data to identify key trends, risks, pricing/billing inefficiencies.
- Support the team to manage the end-to-end sales cycle including pricing and fee billing set up
- Understand the client's account structure, cash flow, product usage and regional/global setup
- Preparation of client account plans, briefing memos and portfolio management reporting
- Support Sales Executives in KYC responsibilities
Required qualification, capabilities and skills: - Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex problems into concise conclusions
- Goal driven with the ability to foster innovation and solve problems creatively
- Strong time management, organizational and planning skills and ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently with keen attention to follow-up coordination
- Ability to mobilize internal networks and resources
- Must be proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Fluent in German and English
