Flight Operations Coordinator (m/f/d)
Fulltime in Nordholz/Wittmund for our German Program
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Our Flying Operations Manager and Scheduling Officer is an integral part of our team. He takes pride in providing superior client service and support.
Coordinate, negotiate and manage all aspects of individual call ups, including:
- Create Mission Authorizations
- Assist in mission planning with pilot-scheduler and Bundeswehr contacts
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating pre-deployment meetings
- Verify accuracy of sortie reports daily and monitor hours flown on each tasking
- Compute weekly flying hours for DSLT and Bundesamt für Ausfuhrkontralle (BAFA)
- Coordinate planning of ferry flights to reposition aircraft: routing, FBO, flights, transportation
- Track fuel receipts & log cards
- Responsible for an extension of the Diplo Clearance and Entry Permission
- Liaison with Maintenance as required
- Monitoring and filing pilot qualifications
- Assist in distribution and upkeep of applicable Bundeswehr documentation
- Book and manage travel arrangements
- Ad hoc administrative tasks and special projects as required
- Handles special projects as assigned
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- 1-2 years of Aviation experience or education strongly desired
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong command of both the English and German language in order to read, understand and interpret manuals, policies and procedures
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Computer literate, Microsoft & email applications
- Team player
- Ability to perform all work in support of our Corporate Values of Safety, Teamwork, Focus and Integrity
