Your tasks:
- Inspection of storage areas for hazardous substances and evaluation of waste streams with regard to compliance with applicable national standards and international regulations.
- Review and update USAG Bavaria's environmental management plans, including hazardous waste management plans.
- Data entry and database management of environmental management systems.
- Active participation in project meetings with internal and external stakeholders, including German environmental authorities.
Our requirements:
- You can communicate easily in both English and German, whether in technical discussions or in documentation and correspondence with other project participants.
- You have theoretical and, in the best case, practical knowledge of environmental regulations, technologies and guidelines as well as environmental management systems.
- You have current certificates in the storage of hazardous substances in accordance with TRGS 509, 510 and 520 or are available for training on these topics.
- You have the curiosity and open-mindedness to quickly familiarize yourself with new areas of activity.
- You have good communication skills and an understanding of the requirements of working in an international context.
- You have a valid class B driver's license.
