We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied working student occupation in the area of Agile Product Development as part of the Solutions in Hardware Team, developing IT applications that support the planning, demand process, and lifecycle management of our BMW prototypes.
What awaits you?
- You will be part of a professional, experienced, and interdisciplinary Product Development team, owning a wide landscape of established and new applications.
- Moreover you will get to know software development processes, management and development tools and working models.
- You will get own work items to support the product development, taking into account your strengths.
- Furthermore you will learn how to turn early-stage feature proposals into concepts and translate them into work packages.
- You will participate in project status meetings, cross product sync calls, process design meetings, etc.
- In addition to that you will take over test management and execution functions as part of the product development team.
- You will get insights in feature team setup, international collaboration and code management.
What should you bring along?

- Proactive, communicative mindset with a pronounced ownership of own tasks.
- Structured, professional way of working.
- About to finish the Bachelor degree or currently enrolled in a master’s degree in Economics, Computer Science/Informatics, industrial engineering or a related technical field.
- Software engineering experience (no coding/programming experience needed).
- Ability to speak and write in English fluently.
