- Contribute to ongoing research activities on energy-saving and CO2 reduction for industrial solutions that help to reduce energy usage and cost for a more sustainable future.
- Research, develop and test optimization algorithms for various applications.
- Support the project team through evaluating case studies, conducting performance and /or unit tests, and presenting experimental results.
- We expect you to have the willingness to tackle difficult problems, above-average motivation to implement and test developed models and algorithms, and proactiveness to come up with new ideas on how to overcome possible challenges.
- We expect a proactive approach and the ability to perform independent work tasks as a project team member.
- Enrolled in master's program in Mathematics, Computer Science, or similar field.
- You are well acquainted with mathematical optimization techniques such as (mixed integer) linear programming, (mixed integer) non-linear programming, combinatorial optimization, optimization algorithms on graphs, or similar.
- You have programming experience in Python and are familiar with object-oriented programming.
- You are interested in solving complex industrial optimization problems.
- As a good communicator, you have sound English skills in speaking and writing required by an international team.
