ADAS Development Engineer in Ingolstadt bei Italdesign Giugiaro
Italdesign Deutschland is expanding its engineering activities in the field of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
Within the international ADAS team you will work on series function development of next generation ADAS Level 1-3 systems like ACC, LKA, Highway-Pilot, Parking-Assist, Garage-Pilot or ADAS HMI functions to be integrated in a new domain-based E/E architectur of a new Premium BEV-Platform.
Responsibilities
- System specifications, logical and technical functional architecture, Interface signal definitions (by using tools such as: CAMEO, RHAPSODY, PREEvision, DOORS, AVW). Baseline creation, modifications monitoring, harmonization with related function-owners and suppliers;
- Requirements management coordination: defining functional requirements processes for ADAS and other related functionalities and ECUs;
- Implementing and start-up of new ADAS functions;
- Testing of the entire ADAS function and serveral sub-functionalities on HIL and test-vehicles (by using tools such as: CANape, ADTF). Monitoring of functional test-activities done by different parties;
- Setup, implementing and update of measurement toolchains (ADTF, Labview, PXI-Boards);
- Documentation and monitoring of results and bugfixes via KPM tool.
Key requirements
- Automotive experience (OEM, Tier1/2, Engineering specialist);
- Experience in series functional development and ECU integration projects;
- Knowledge of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems;
- Experience on unterstanding customers requirements;
- Take on responsibility, work independently being able to share achievements with the team;
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple task.
Additional requirements
- At least two years of experience in a similar role;
- Experience in Requirements Management using DOORS;
- Handling of Vector CANape and CANalyzer diagnostic tool VAS tester and/or IDEX;
- Knowledge in using Failure Tracking Tools KPM;
- Knowledge in the common Bus interfaces (e.g. CAN, FlexRay, CAN-FD, Automotive Ethernet, LIN etc.);
- Experience in development process and implementation along ISO26262.
- Education: Bachelor/Master's Degree in Vehicle Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechatronics;
- Language skills: Fluent knowledge of written and spoken German and English (at least B2 level) is required;
- Workplace: Ingolstadt and availability to travel quite frequently.
