The global HR organization is built around 3 pillars and 4 regions (Americas, Asia, Europe and MEA)
The first pillar is the team of HR strategic business partners enabling SABIC transformation by collaborating with & influencing business leaders to develop the corporate strategy, identifying HR solutions with the broader HR function to deliver on the talent priorities.
The second pillar is the team of regionally organized HR operations with the focus on driving operational processes in the employ lifecycle like payroll, on boarding, staffing, training and reporting in line with the business strategy, legal requirements and labour relations.
The third pillar is the global team of People and Organization. This team focus on policies and tools regarding e.g. leadership and people development, organisational effectiveness, C&B, talent solutions and talent acquisition. All these pillars work in close cooperation in the value creation framework, the interlinked HR processes.
Mission:
Formulate partnership(s) across HR Operations organization in Europe to deliver value added HR service to manager(s) and employees that reflect(s) the business objectives and drive value creation to HR function(s). Use automation and process improvement to enhance efficiency, raise productivity and eliminate manual chores of HR Operations teams in the Region. Assist in analyzing and driving data driven decision making for Europe HR Operations and any other Regional driven projects. Consult with HR Operations teams in Europe to support vendor oversight and sourcing process.
Being part of the European HR Operations team, we rely on your technical and experiential knowledge and insights, to help us execute & shape our organization–wide HR plan. You will provide proactive and innovative solutions to business issues and contribute to HR Operations Europe change agenda. The role reports into the Senior Manager, People Process Europe.
Job Purpose & Responsibilities:
- Manage HR Systems & tools (HRIS administration – eg Success Factors, SAP)
- Integration, roll-out and support of Global/Corporate programs/projects in respect to data management and processes. HR Projects regional focal point (EMEA)
- Identify and drive HR processes improvement opportunities
- Recommends HR solutions, new processes and/or tools in support of business priorities and/or HR Operations
- Apply a professional, proactive and continously improving mindset to support HR service across Europe, ensuring full compliance with company policies and procedures
- Regional reporting, runs reports and supports analysis of data to help the business make informed people decisions
- Partners with country HR operation teams to support sourcing process (within HR)
- Stakeholder management. Maintain periodical contact with key stakeholders (senior leadership within EMEA)
- Communication and networking. Maintain an extensive network of internal and external contacts (including external vendors)
Additional Responsibilities:
- Ability to influence SABIC Europe and Global Partner(s)
- Ability to balance supportive/steering activities at Site and European level including go to for Advice by local manager(s)
- Ability to work and influence in multi-cultural, diverse Global Community whilst aligning with local and global policy and legal directives
- Ability to promote local and global corporate values
- Strong Entrepreneurial and Business Acumen working cross business and function(s)
MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of +5 years in HR Operations and HR Systems
- Sound knowledge of HRIS (SAP PA/OM)
- Bachelor and/or Master’s Degree or Equivalent Technical Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration and/or related area
- Fluency in English (both writen and oral) - any additional European language(s) a bonus
- Full time role supporting Europe
DESIRABLE:
- Experience working in cross matrix organization(s) and influencing across multi-cultural and diverse and functions
- Experience with leading cross functional projects.
- Project management experience
- Proven experience working independently/autonomously and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Understanding of the entire spectrum of HR programs & processes
- Demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities and to adapt to changing requirements in a fast- paced environment
- Ability to turn data into information for short and long term programs and decisions
