Functional area: Engineering

As Solar Project Engineer you will support the development, planning, installation and commissioning of solar and storage power plants in Germany and Central Europe.

Your tasks:

• Support in the preparation of site plans and single line plans for solar and storage power plants to support project development and construction.
• Support of energy assessments for solar and storage power plants to support project development and construction
• Supporting the regulatory and permitting process for industrial-scale solar and storage power plants
• Support the tendering process for construction projects by writing technical specifications and evaluating bids with quantifiable measures
• Assist in coordinating technical requirements and deliverables with the SCADA, transmission, civil and storage engineering teams throughout the design, procurement and construction process
• Participate in site visits during development and construction to guide the design process
Continuously work with development, construction and procurement to reduce the LCOE of the entire project portfolio

Your profile:

• A technical education in renewable energy, electrical engineering or related fields
• Initial experience with renewable energy projects would be desirable
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, PVsyst and Excel would be an advantage
Fluent in English and German, other languages would be an advantage
