What to Expect
The maintenance department in the general assembly is searching for a new team member that will drive different projects within the implementation of a new maintenance structure. You will develop processes to receive equipment, hand it over to stakeholders and ensure the high-quality standards. You will learn the general process of how a maintenance department works as well as how a car production is planned and runs. Additionally, you will get a deep insight in our equipment maintenance by actively designing the budget planning for the equipment maintenance e.g. spare parts, maintenance, repairs. As a member of our team, you will be also responsible for the project steering in a green field plant by using your communication skills to work successfully and effectively in multidisciplinary teams. We are looking for a self-driven student that is dedicated, motivated and good at handling multiple tasks in a high-paced and fast changing environment.
What You’ll Do
- Learn how to check spare part lists for economical, reasonable and lead time point of views
- Learn to adjust spare part lists with suppliers and engineers
- Learn how to calculate the needed budget to purchase spare part
- Learn to upload and maintain spare part lists in Shopfloor systems
- Support the team with purchasing processes of spare equipment and maintenance fit out
- Learning about the process of maintenance management, assembly equipment and car production
- Support by planning and scheduling corrective and preventive maintenance activities by task and priority level
- Support in managing communications between internal maintenance departments and maintaining & updating the internal ME system
- Analyzing and communicating equipment faults from Scada to suppliers and engineers
What You’ll Bring
- Studying towards a degree in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Security Management fields
- Written and verbal communication in English and German (C1 or higher)
- Knowledge of EDV Systems (Power Point, Excel, MS Project)
- Knowledge in use of AutoCAD, Catia and EAM Systems
- Flexibility to adapt to new circumstances and new ways of working
- Ability to recognize opportunities for process improvements and make suggestions for increasing the effectiveness in the maintenance department
- Willingness to learn new methods, procedures and techniques
