As a Lean and Continuous Improvement (CI) manager for Europe, CIS, and Türkiye your main target will be promoting a Lean and CI mindset in the whole European Operations network. In this position, you will be reporting directly to the Head of Operations in Europe, playing a crucial role in improving processes and increasing efficiency. You will be the interface between the global Lean team and our local Lean managers who are based at our local production sites. By collaborating closely with all leaders in the region you will ensure that Lean principles and tools are understood and implemented. Your supervision will keep our people safe, thereby continuously increasing the efficiency of our operations, and achieving the highest quality standards. Lastly, in this role, you will be traveling 70% of your working time to our production sites in Austria, Germany, Scotland, Switzerland, France, and Türkiye.
You are a Lean management expert and familiar with all the respective Lean methods. You appreciate the opportunity to introduce new tools to make processes more efficient, and your main driver is the result you will see when you improve efficiency. You know how to empower colleagues and stakeholders by training and educating them. Developing and improving processes and people is what motivates you. You have great stakeholder management skills, and with your effective communication style, you easily convince people around you of your ideas and plans. You work well in a matrix organization and thrive in a culture where constant change and improvement are keywords. With your pragmatic hands-on approach, you are achieving results by translating tools and concepts into concrete ‘actions’ that work for people in our production facilities.
