Global Account Manager
Location: Germany - remote office
Fortinet seeks a passionate Global Account Manager, that will be the trusted advisor to senior decision makers in 1 to 2 assigned Global Clients. In lock step with the Global Client Solution Architect, and a global virtual team, the GAM will translate the customers’ business needs, into opportunities. The GAM will be responsible for orchestrating the short & long-term strategic approach for their customers, whilst collaboratively harnessing all necessary resources, to achieve the objectives of both the customer, and Fortinet.
Simply put, the Global Account Manager is responsible for orchestrating the activities required to transform Fortinet’s relationship with their client to one that is seen as a mutual strategic partnership.
Responsibilities:
- You will be assigned 3 strategic global enterprise account requiring global execution with a high level of complexity, carrying significant strategic importance to Fortinet.
- You will identify and validate customer priorities, business drivers, and outcomes.
- You will put in place a global strategy that drives all Fortinet activities, and leverages a multifunctional global team of Fortinet resources.
- You will establish a personal and professional brand as the trusted partner for your client. Influence decision makers and gain “insider status” with key stakeholders and senior/CxO profiles to influence the customer’s buying process.
- Lead the development of wide and deep relationships across all strategic functions with your selected client.
- You will put in place a services strategy that sets Fortinet up with the right service delivery to support the customer success agenda, adoption, and future growth
- You will translate your client’s business needs into Fortinet solutions and be able to position associated value add and business impact. Anticipate customer needs, beyond the existing scope of products & services, to discover opportunities that position the total value of the entire breadth of the Fortinet portfolio.
- You will be responsible for overall account strategic relevance, revenue growth, profitability, forecast governance, performance objectives and customer NPS across Fortinet.
Who You Are:
- You will bring +5 years of experience leading global major account sales.
- You have broad knowledge of IT-industry, product lines, geographical region, marketing, sales and business strategy
- You bring demonstrable experience selling complex technical solutions to executive management.
- You are able to set and communicate strategy and goals, whilst motivating others to contribute and deliver
- You possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to build rapport and communicate effectively at all levels, and across disciplines using different communication techniques
- You are change orientated, able to accept work with and manage an ever-changing work environment You are a natural team worker, working effectively within the team delivering own targets and supporting others
You are proactive - anticipate change, future needs or risk in the business or areas of responsibility and comfortable in proposing appropriate activities to meet these challenges.
