For our location in Dortmund, which specializes in the development, production and global distribution of

standard seals and customized sealing solutions in the field of gas- and liquid-lubricated

mechanical seals for compressors, turbines, pumps, agitators, etc., we are looking for a

as soon as possible:

Machinist (M/F/T), full time

The job includes:

• Programming, setting up and operating CNC grinding machine tools, if necessary in consultation with or under the guidance of the supervisor.
• Preparation and finishing of components (complexity of components depends on skills and experience)
• Quality assurance incl. rework according to drawing, if necessary according to instructions
• Ensure workplace organisation and maintenance according to instructions in accordance with 6S criteria
• Support of development and implementation of improvement processes

Your qualifications

• Completed 3.5-year technical professional training, e.g. as a cutting machine operator
• Work experience with CNC machine tools, ideally with grinding operations
• CNC programming skills
• Knowledge of conventional machining desirable
• First experience in the manufacturing process of mechanical seals
• Good knowledge of the relevant process and operating instructions, DIN standards, ISO 9001 process instructions, work plans and internal guidelines
• Flexibility, ability to work under pressure, commitment, initiative, communication skills
