Your Scope

We are looking for a Credit Controller to join our Finance team and work closely with our colleagues in different departments (sales, customer service). In this role you report into the Credit Manager.

Your main key focus areas are assessing credit applications and adhering to company payment policies.
You own the credit collection process and its follow-up: compliance with group credit management policy, release orders, update credit limits, credit insurance, reminder procedure…
You report any payment issues to management or the appropriate team. Close cooperation with Customer Service, Sales, and Corporate Finance
You follow up on overdue invoices and payments. This requires follow-up by phone and via iController.
You manage the portfolio of credit insurance.
You look for ways to improve debt collection processes.
Your profile
You prefably have a bachelor's degree.
You have a proven work experience as a Credit Controller or a similar role in accounting.
A good Credit Controller has a solution-oriented approach, aiming for results while staying customer-focused.
You can easily handle Excel and have experience with an accounting package or ERP system. Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
You have excellent collaboration and communication abilities since you work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
You speak Dutch fluently and have a good knowledge of English and French. German is a plus.
