We are seeking a dynamic and self-driven Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Project Manager to join our team. Reporting to the DE&I Lead within the People and Organisational Development team, you will take an active role in steering our DEI initiatives, driving cultural transformation and ensuring an inclusive environment where every employee feels valued and respected. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of maturity, exceptional project management skills, and a passion for fostering diversity and equity within the workplace.
- Strategic Development: In collaboration with the DEI Lead, develop and implement comprehensive DEI strategies aligned with the company's mission, vision and values
- Project Management: Design, execute, and oversee DEI projects and initiatives, ensuring effective time management and stakeholder communication
- Communication: Create and disseminate DE&I materials across carious channels to raise awareness and engagement within the company
- Policy Review: Evaluate and revise company policies and practices to ensure they are inclusive and equitable
- Training & Education: Create and oversee DEI training programs to educate employees at all levels on diversity, equity and inclusion
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyse, and report on DEI metrics to measure the effectiveness of initiatives and inform strategic decisions
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote DEI efforts and drive community engagement
- Advocacy: Serve as a DEI advocate, providing guidance and support to senior leadership and employees on DEI-related matters
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with DEI best practices and trends, continuously enhancing the organisation's DEI initiatives
Your powerful skills
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in DEI, human resources, consulting or in a business rolewith proven project management skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences or a related field
- Strong understanding of DEI principles and best practices
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- High level of maturity, professionalism and emotional intelligence
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to approach people easily, engage and motivate them for your projects and also being able to articulate ideas
- Ability to influence and inspire others to support DEI initiatives
- Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to use metrics to drive decisions
- End-to-end responsibility for projects, from initial concept through to detailed implementation
- Proactive and motivated, with the ability to work independently and take initiative
- Demonstrates sound judgment, integrity and discretion in handling sensitive information
- Strong team player with the ability to build relationships and work effectively across all levels of the organisation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with a willingness to learn and master new tools
- Fluency in English, Good German skills
Advantageous, but not a must
- Advanced degrees or certifications in DEI are a plus
