Payroll Analyst
Description
We are looking for a talented Payroll Analyst (m/w/d) to join our team in Groß-Gerau, Herten or Marktheidenfeld
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways and more:
- Manage and contribute to payroll for various wage and salary groups, including preparation, processing and closing of payroll. You will ensure that all information received from data interfaces and manual data sources is uploaded into the system without errors.
- Uses internal or external payroll technologies for payroll.
- Ensures that payments are calculated and disbursed accurately and on time; ensures proper calculation of taxes and deductions.
- Provides customer support for the sites, including required off-cycle or replacement payments.
- Reviews information prepared for general ledger entries and other accounting and financial reporting activities related to payroll.
- Participates in the review and preparation of data required for the filing of payroll-related tax returns and various withholding tax forms.
- Perform appropriate reconciliations and maintain records for audit purposes.
- Support with all German payrolls, cross-training for the administration and processing of payrolls by the named assistant.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

Training, licenses, certificates:
- College, university or equivalent degree in human resources, business or related field or equivalent experience required.
Experience:
- Good practical understanding of German legislation and payroll accounting.
- Understanding of German legal regulations.
- Fluent German and English language skills, spoken and written.
- Previous payroll experience preferred.
- Experience working with payroll and HR systems.
- Excellent customer interaction skills.
- Experienced in maintaining relationships with authorities and responding to all internal and external inquiries regarding taxes, social security, health, insurance, etc
