Tasks and Responsibilities

Collaborating on multiple concurrent consulting projects addressing LCA, Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), or corporate sustainability aspects around scope 3 in the sectors manufacture & electronics

Using powerful tools like our industry-leading LCA For Experts software (fka GaBi), and its vast warehouse of data, to create best-in-class life cycle models and inventories of products and services.

Interfacing with industry-leading, Fortune 500 clients, Sharing the results of your work, delivering presentations, etc.

Writing ISO 14040/44 compliant reports documenting your project work

Developing and delivering consultative sustainability services, advising clients to help them operate more sustainably and reduce their greater environmental impact, with help of product related sustainability assessments, workshops, ecodesign and circular economy aspects focused on net zero, climate, carbon, and ESG,

Conducting in-depth analysis of our client’s energy, water, waste, and emissions,

Collaborating with Sphera team members across different specialties and regions to innovate, develop best practices, and deliver world-class results
Key skills and experience
-
1-3 years of experience in dedicated LCA role, preferred in the sector manufacture, electronics and innovative industries

Experience in interacting directly with a broad group of internal and external stakeholders
-
Demonstrated passion for sustainability and innovation
-
Aptitude for learning new software, previous experience with LCA For Experts (fka GaBi) a plus.

Good oral and written communication skills; ability to articulate issues, give presentations, and prepare formal written reports.

Self-motivated and organized; able to simultaneously work on multiple assignments and to work both independently as well as on teams.

Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
