Job Description Summary: What you need to know about the role The successful candidate will be supporting the Large Enterprise & New Vertical Sales Team in identifying new growth areas for PayPal and help turning these ideally into a scalable business areas. Join a cross-functional, customer facing-project team where you will utilize your growing expertise and skillset by supporting and participating in workshops and meetings. Internship duration – 6 months fulltime, starting April 2024 Internship location, Dreilinden, Germany

Job Description:

You will focus on payments through mobile devices / smartphones and be centered around mobile commerce and the point of sale, but also dig deeper into newly emerging online industries

Your day to day

• You will deal intensively with a symbiosis between innovative technologies, market trends, user behavior and the hereof deriving go-to-market strategies for new vertical merchants.
• Amongst other things, you are responsible for market analysis, evaluations and the presentation of results in professional presentation formats, both – to internal and external stakeholders.
• In the context of new digital verticals, you are leading projects on your own, demonstrating ownership and organizational skill while cooperating with various, cross functional departments at PayPal, but also with external customers and partners.
• You are becoming part of cross-functional, customer facing-project teams, utilizing your growing expertise and skillset by supporting and participating in workshops and meetings.

What do you need to bring-

• Bachelor-/Master student in the fields of business administration / economics, IT or a comparable degree course.
• First experience in project management and sales are of advantage.
• A basic understanding and interest of the latest internet technologies and trends.
• A passion E-Commerce and Online Payments is helpful.
• The handling of the usual MS Office products at an advanced level.
• Excellent communication skills
• Proactive, result-oriented, high quality standards and organizational skills are key to success.
• Fast comprehension, good analytical skills and a structured way of working.
• Energetic and positive, with a ‘can do’ attitude and willingness to learn.
• Fluent in both, German and English.
• You are ready to join the team for at least 6 months.
