Description:
As an IES project manager your will be responsible to deliver upon various projects, both internal and external, within, but not limited to, the SID/LED product portfolio. This is involve collaborating right across divisions and functions with the goal to deliver best in class project outcomes, lessons learned and continuous improvements to our project management delivery. The ideal candidate will be a team player, customer focused, with a keen eye for details and with the ability to thrive in complex projects ensuring that our customers experience “Trusted Answers” at every opportunity.
Typical Tasks:
1. Informatics Services Program Management
- Supports the sale and manages the implementation and development informatics solutions to external customers.
- Scopes, develops and implements processes and tools that are scalable and repeatable across the organisation ready to be deployed at new enterprise services customer facilities
- Responsible for the success of the informatics portfolio in EMEAI in collaboration with fellow program managers.
- Responsible for enhancing the partnership between Agilent and our external customers ensuring customers experience Agilent’s superior customer service throughout several countries within the assigned customer sites.
- Works closely with local delivery team to ensure best in class service delivery to assigned customers.
- Collaborates with other organisation within Agilent to ensure business opportunities are realised and executed upon.
- Supports the success of the overall Agilent business and service levels at assigned customer engagements Responsible for project management and execution of assigned informatics projects.
- Support the development of the informatics business with the sales organisation, by using technical expertise to scope and calculate the resources and infrastructure required to deliver the project.
- Takes responsibility in conjunction with the local teams to co-ordinate and manage the delivery of the solutions ensuring that the projects stay within scope, schedule and meet the financial expectations.
- Utilise lab wide consultative based skills to work within the Agilent Crosslab Group team to position and articulate the value of ACG enterprise tools and applications to our customer install base.
2. Informatics Services Implementation Project Management:
- Determines overall program/project plan, budget, structure, schedule, and staffing requirements.
- Translate business objectives into comprehensive implementation work plan covering timeline, resources, dependencies, priorities, risks and milestones;
- Coordinate and assure project execution including time, schedule, budgets and risk management;
- Builds and maintains client relationships during the implementation and optimisation phases.
- Regularly report on project status to project team, project sponsors, Agilent and Customer upper management;
- Solves non-routine issues, challenges and problems encountered
- Escalate to management as needed
- Maintains project records to ensure all project information is kept and secured
3. Subject Matter Expert - In Support of Global and Regional Strategic Initiatives
- Participate in assigned projects as a Subject Matter Expert in specialised areas of expertise
- Participate on key task forces
- Help drive the development of new enterprise informatics service products
- Establish effective teamwork within and across functions
- Able to make good decisions based upon a mixture of business analysis, experience and judgment
Accountabilities
- Build and maintains excellent customer relationships to ensure customer retention and account growth
- Meet assigned project performance metrics and goals
- Develop and Implement custom delivery solutions
- Support the success of Enterprise services, working with SU, for assigned functional responsibilities e.g.; Asset Monitoring or other new product initiatives
- Prepare customer facing documents and financial reports as required working with the Account manager
- Meet TAT and quality of assigned deliverables
- Uses expertise and knowledge to provide EMEAI resource to assigned LED Initiatives
