Scope of the role:
- Perform Customer Quality Engineering functions within appointed regions & OEM site locations, including control & coordination of service provider projects;
- Interface between Customer Manufacturing Plants (OEM), Visteon Manufacturing Plants, Quality departments, and Engineering departments;
- Ensure customer satisfaction in terms of Quality, communication, and reactivity.
Responsibilities:
Customer Quality Engineering:
- OEM & site locations supported:
- DAG (Daimler Automotive Group) sites;
- Others (on demand).
- Perform the Customer Quality Engineering function in a way to maximize customer satisfaction;
- Develop good working relationships with customers and Visteon;
- Support customer and Visteon Quality KPI objectives & and targets by minimizing/avoiding negative performance impacts (WC, PPM, Major events / Campaigns);

- Support the Visteon Quality Org for concerns analysis and concern resolution:
- Investigation of customer reported concerns related to Visteon products;
- Pre-analysis of concern parts (0km & Warranty);
- Insure information flow of pre-analysis results to Visteon Org;
- Coordination and tracking of concerned part shipping process;
- Coordination of 2way direction information flow between customer & Visteon;
- Support the VPRS process for all customer concerns.
- Control and adjust resources to relevant customer requirements for sorting, rework and SW flash actions and keep CQE budget neutral;
- Support Visteon MP&L organization in case of supply frictions;
- Support Visteon Engineering & Plants for Technical Change Management;
- Support Launch Activities.
Information:
- Inform the Visteon Quality Organization about the actual quality status and voice of the customer at Customer Manufacturing Plants;
- Track quality rejections, and provide regular status reports for open concerns, containment actions, and concern resolution status to both customer and Visteon;
- Organize/Support cross functional team meetings to define & drive action plans for containment & resolution of concerns;
- Support the Quality information systems ongoing (Daily, GWC, VPRS, TEAM….);
- Support Visteon CQE reporting systems (Daily & Weekly reporting processes);
- Support Visteon & Customer Quality meetings ;
- Ensure seamless information flow (2way direction) OEM /Visteon Q Org to achieve high customer satisfaction;
- Maintain CQE department working calendars (CQE working plans and Customer shutdowns).
Quick response to Quality issues:
- React to HCHQ issues by providing guidance to initiate escalation processes;
- Ensure customer satisfaction with proactive support & and fast response.
Additional Functions (10%):
- Self-manage development & learning (MyPID, MyLearning….);
- Support CQE Budget & billing processes:
- Weekly reporting of worked hours per plant using ‘My TEAM’ system;
- Provide (on demand) a summary breakdown of workload hours and activities to support plant inquiries related to CQE service support charges;
- Maintain CQE department Travel cost tracking file;
- Maintain CQE department customer sites coverage and projects tracking file to support resource planning;
- Minimize expenditure – Maximize delivered value.
- Undertake projects or special assignments (on demand) in addition to regular duties;
- Lead and mentor one or more CQE team members (if requested).
Scope Data:
- Close Connection with the Visteon and OEM Manufacturing plants in allocated region/s.;
- Deep understanding of Quality standards & requirements of Customers & Visteon;
