Junior Cloud Networking Engineer in Essen bei E ON

• Implement technical roadmaps for related to cloud network services together with the team
• Create and develop collaborative technical designs, specifications, and statement of work documents for enterprise networks, data center and cloud architecture within a cross-functional team.
• Consult, troubleshoot and solve cloud network issues working with business, IT partners and various IT teams.
• Embrace innovation to create, plan and implement innovative network and security infrastructure based on approved concepts, designs and according to IT policies and guidelines.
• Provide technical support to the service owner in business consultation and provider governance.
• Work in an agile organization with aspirations towards DevOps

• Some years experience in network engineering with a focus on cloud networking
• Experience with cloud networking technologies, such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Preferrable worked as Network SME for projects involving migration of datacenter from cloud to cloud or on-prem to cloud.
• Experience with software-based networking, automation and Infrastructure as code, as well as an interest in cloud native technologies like containers, application gateways, Kubernetes
• Must be teachable with a strong desire to continue learning and expanding their experience in a highly evolving technical environment
• Personal qualities include a high level of motivation, a good ability to cope with pressure, strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, a high degree of self-responsibility, open and honest communication abilities, team spirit and willingness to travel
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, related field, or have gained significant comparable knowledge through practical experience
• Business fluent in English
