Job Purpose
The Professional Consulting Veterinarian (PCV) - (f/m/d) reports into the Professional Veterinary Affiars Manager (PVAM) and is part of the Professioal Veterinary Affairs (PVA) team, working closely with the Customer Development and Marketing teams. The PCV plays a crucial role for the company's commercial goals (sales and recommendation rates) by influencing veterinary specialists and (mainly key account) healthcare teams.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Enhance the Field Sales Team's technical, product, communication and seminar delivering expertise through ongoing TM training and field coaching.
Help Territory Managers to drive usage of our professional digital engagement tools to increase recommendation (incl. Quick Reco).
Influence practice success through nutritional and practice management education within practice healthcare teams primarily focusing on large practices (key accounts and corporates).
Drive Professional Digital Engagement for veterinary partners through digital education and other collaboration and engagement tools for the country.
Drive brand awareness through on-t-many events and projects incl. project management (e.g. support key shelters, assistant dog associations, EBR, Futtercoach, practice management seminars, speaker tours).
Work closely with Marketing (Brand Management) in proofreading and developing assets and support in creating content for social media.
Organize and staff Hill's exhibit booth at national/regional/speciality conferences building relationships with country Key Thought Leaders, providing vet insights and influencing conference attendees to recommend and sell Hill's products.
As member ob the country PVA team, answer veterinary/technical queries from helpline and field team.
Execute the European school strategy by closely collaborating with and providing support to the veterinary and nurse schools in the PCV area.
Drive Hill's4Me (student feeding) program and support the student reps in the PCV area.

Education/ Experience Requirements
Basic qualifications include:
Graduate degree in veterinary medicine
Current veterinary license and clinically competent
Ideally 3+ years of small animal clinical practice and/or pet food industry experience
Basic understanding of business terminology; good analytical skills
Strong work ethic, professional appearance and approach, high integrity
Self-motivated and highly competitive
Passion for pets
Drive to grow and build an account base
Expected Areas of Skills:
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
- Proficient in all Google collaboration tools, with shown interest in digital tools
- Must be able to work independently, manage a demanding schedule with irregular hours and manage travel within the area to deliver internal and external customer visits/training; some overnight travel required
