We are convinced, that central banks across the world will introduce a so-called Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) like the digital Euro within the next five years.
This will create a whole ecosystem of products and services that fit perfectly with Giesecke+Devrient's existing product portfolio.
The CBDC ecosystem ranges from banking applications to mobile apps and down to small embedded devices.
The solutions involved in such an ecosystem will deal with terabytes of data, high availability, high performance, high security and millions of customers.
Our mission is to create and grow a new set of products and solutions that will enable all participants to benefit from the upcoming e-Money revolution. For the development of CBDC products and solutions together with central banks, we are looking for a Full Stack Developer (m/f/d):

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop high quality, reusable, readable, testable and maintainable code across the full stack
• Develop new features and infrastructure development in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements
• Participate in requirement analysis together with your cross-functional team
• Act as an internal customer by integrating services which other teams are developing and create outstanding applications the capabilities of our overall solution
• Engage in decisions ranging from user interface to backend architecture together with tech leads and product team
• Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities
• Engage with inspiring designers and collaborate with leading back end engineers to create reliable APIs

Your Profile:

• you have 3+ years developing with Typescript, React, Node.js and an ORM in the context of Node/Typescript ((e.g. Prisma)
• you are familiar with source control management tools and services (e.g. git, bitbucket)
• you have a good technical understanding of RESTful API’s and how to integrate/consume them based on their documentation
• you are familiar with UI libraries and UX collaboration tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch)
• you have critical thinking with a constructive feedback mindset
• you are passionate about writing well-structured, efficient, maintainable and testable code, actively keeping the quality of the code base in check
• you enjoy collaborating cross-functionally to accomplish shared goals
• you are fluent in English and have good communication skills
