Job Summary:
seoClarity is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable and Renewals Specialist to join our finance team. This role is critical in ensuring timely and accurate processing of client payments, managing client renewals, and maintaining positive client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a background in accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable Management:
- Process customer payments promptly and accurately.
- Produce monthly financial and management reports.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Generate and distribute customer invoices and statements.
- Monitor and follow up on overdue payments.
- Investigate and resolve any irregularities or inquiries.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts receivable transactions.
- Assist in general financial management and analysis.
- Other finance projects and duties as assigned by the CFO and leadership team.
Renewals Management:
- Establish a framework and process to track, manage, and maximize renewal contracts.
- Proactively engage with customers to facilitate the renewal process.
- Prepare renewal quotes for current contracts.
- Contacting and follow-up with customers and partners to ensure a timely renewal process.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns related to renewals contracts.
- Collaborate with the client success team to identify upsell opportunities during the renewal process.
- Report on progress of current contract renewals.
- Prepare forecasts of contract renewal bookings.
- Other renewals projects and duties as assigned by the CFO and leadership team.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding billing inquiries and renewal discussions.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address customer concerns in a timely manner.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Generate reports related to accounts receivable, renewals, and customer payment trends.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and analyses as needed.
Process Improvement and Documentation:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in accounts receivable and renewals procedures.
- Document standard operating procedures and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in accounts receivable, renewals management, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with or knowledge of SaaS or subscription-based business model.
- Knowledge of CRM and QuickBooks Online.
