Calling all storytellers, content creators and social media stars! We are looking for a (Senior) Content Production Specialist to join our Content & Communications Team. Working across a range of industry sectors and our exciting Trend Research and Innovation teams, the Content Production Specialist will support us in the creation of high-quality content, including (but not limited to) videos, website pages, social media assets and sales collateral that support the wider marketing team.
We’re looking for a natural creative with very strong English writing skills and the ability to take a set of marketing aims and craft an inspiring story to capture our audience’s attention. We need someone who is organized, solutions-oriented and able to work across multiple workstreams with multiple stakeholders.
In return, you’ll join a new and international team based in our Innovation Center in Germany where you’ll be supporting global DHL projects. You’ll be working end-to-end on creating content assets, able to develop your work from concept to reality, with the opportunity to work behind the camera and possibly to travel to filming locations.

Tasks:
The Content Production Specialist (m/f/x) is responsible for creating various high-quality content assets that best position the DHL brand and support marketing objectives. Tasks range from the development of website pages and sales materials to the production and editing of video and social media content, in addition to on-site filming support.
Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, the Content Production Specialist takes a brief and turns it into a compelling story for the chosen audience.
Working with the wider Content & Communications team, they support a range of projects. They work closely with relevant stakeholders (both internal and external), creating project plans and steering workflows to ensure the timely completion and delivery of content assets.
Employing our Brand Guidelines, the Content Specialist makes the DHL brand shine in each project and is responsible for ensuring the appropriate tone, style and key messages are communicated in each asset.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Planning, development and execution of content development – video and static content (social media assets, email banners, event branding visuals, etc), including video editing and creative design
- Use native English language skills to craft compelling copy relevant to our audience
- Based on internal needs, create a strong narrative that encompasses key messages, for instance in a storyboard or script
- Create a catalogue of templates and/or existing best practices to optimize production
- Maintain a catalogue of CSI content repository
- Be a champion for new creative ideas and techniques, whilst always referring back to agreed project briefing and customer understanding
- Own the DHL brand in terms of visuals, look and feel, tone of voice throughout the execution whether directly or indirectly carried out.
- Supervise the work / relationship of external agencies and build a database of expertise amongst externals
- Own, at day-to-day level, the Department relations with its external agencies, supporting them to provide the best possible service and quality of work, demonstrating project management skills to ensure on-time delivery of content assets.
- Show strong belief in the power of creativity, keeping informed as to new techniques and developments and being able to suggest learnings from campaigns inside/outside the DHL sector and Innovation
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- University degree or equivalent professional education in film making, design and / or marketing
- First experience in a global marketing team, agency or similar
- Experience in project management and stakeholder management
- Experience in content generation and execution, as well as a proven ability in storytelling
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience in creative software and tools (Adobe Creative Cloud, Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
