Social Media Intern in Berlin bei iMusician

Are you passionate about music and social media? Join our dynamic team at iMusician, a music distribution company dedicated to empowering artists to monetize their passion. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media Intern to join our content team for a 3 to 6-month internship (20 – 40 hours per week depending on your University requirements).

What you will learn in your role:

• How to create engaging and shareable social media content across various platforms in collaboration with our content team.
• Developing and implementing social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
• Analyzing social media metrics, identifying trends, and finding optimization strategies, working closely with our Growth Manager.
• Sourcing and research of Social Media Trends.
• Fostering a positive and interactive online presence through engagement with our online community.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate program with a focus on Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Based in Berlin as the team meets once per week in person at the office.
• Passion for music and a strong interest in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) and industry trends.
• Ideally basic knowledge of analytics tools and an eagerness to learn and apply new skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Fluency in German or French is a big plus
• Creative mindset with an ability to think outside the box and contribute fresh ideas.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

What do we actually do?

We distribute music from independent artists and labels to hundreds of music platforms like Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon, Deezer or Beatport.

We are truly convinced that everyone should have equal access to the music marketplace — and we’ve already fought for this to happen. That’s why we strive to make it easy for artists to sell, manage, protect, and monetize their music. When you become more financially sustainable as an artist, you make more music. It’s as simple as that.

Culture & Office

Our Berlin office is the hub for our Marketing and Customer Support; working with our Team in Zurich and a bunch of international Freelancers.

We believe that remote work is here to stay, but we also strongly believe that culture and team spirit benefit from working together at one place and meeting for Team Events from time to time. That’s why you have the choice to work from our centrally located, modern office in the beautiful “Bergmannkiez” (Kreuzberg) or from your fully equipped home office in Berlin most days.
