ABOUT THE TEAM

The SAP esports team works together with our partners in the esports ecosystem to position SAP. We show how to use SAP software in the digital native sport to build an analytics platform for professional teams. There analysts and coaches can track the performance of their players and their opponents to fuel data driven strategies.

THE ROLE

Your responsibilities:

• Build AI models using state-of-the-art techniques for analyzing esports data
• Test the applicability of these models and refine them as needed
• Collaborate with analysts and coaches to understand their needs and provide data-driven strategies
• Integrate successful models into the analytics platform for Team Liquid's League of Legends team

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and excel at applying the theory of university in the real world.

• Currently studying in a relevant field such as computer science, data science, or machine learning; at least 3 semester left to study
• Strong programming skills, preferably in Python
• Familiarity with machine learning techniques and frameworks, such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
• 2 AI modules or projects successfully finished at the university
• Knowledge of statistics and data analysis techniques
• Basic understanding of the game League of Legends
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong verbal and written German and English skills
• Working from office in Walldorf is required
