Sales and Business Development Manager
Adhesive and Composite Ski and Sport
To support our Advanced Materials division, we are looking for a Sales & Business Development Manager for our adhesives and composite market. The position is permanent, full-time and home-based contracts, located in the DACH region.
The role is split into two responsibilities. First it is about taking over existing key accounts in the Composite Ski and Sport industry to support in relevant account management activities. The second task is to identify and win new business in the area of industrial adhesives (automotive, e-mobility, wind, marine etc.). This includes to approach, develop, win and manage new customers in the DACH region for the adhesive market in markets such as automotive, transportation, wind and marine. The main objective is to gain new business in the adhesive market and to approach new customers with our innovative adhesives portfolio. Reporting to the Business Development Leader Adhesives, the role is an exciting opportunity to drive and maximize sales values, volumes and profitability in line with business growth targets.
As Sales & Business Development Manager Adhesives and Composite, you will:

Be responsible for our ski and sport composite business and take over existing accounts in the field of composite and adhesives.

Approach and build strong relationship with new and existing adhesive and composite customers by providing sound commercial and technical support.

Ensure that business opportunities are identified, qualified and appropriately followed up within the organisation

Identify customer requirements in close collaboration with the technical team

Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales

Create, maintain and enhance account plans with customer insights and all relevant information

Provide sales forecasts, market data and present business cases to senior management

Collect information from market, customers & competitors to adapt business strategies to changing environment

Gain market know how and help our R&D team to develop the right products for the market.

Work in cross-functional projects and closely collaborate with internal departments (R&T, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Product Managers etc.)

Ensure compliance to Huntsman safety and Ethics&Compliance guidelines

University degree, ideally chemistry, engineering our business administration.

At least 5 years of experience in a chemical company in an international environment

Demonstrating a strong commercial mindset, e.g. respective qualifications or job experience in a commercial function

Experience and know-how in selling industrial adhesives/ composites to B2B customers

Strong strategic thinking and influencing skills with exceptional project management capability

Solid CRM and MS office knowledge

Strong communicator, able to pass clear and compelling messages

Fluent in English and German (written & verbal) is a must, other language are plus

Ready to travel and to work efficiently on a home office basis (around 30% travel activities)
