The role
Bullish DE is looking for an enthusiastic, confident and self-motivated Custody Operations and Finance Operations profession to join our team. The qualified candidate should have demonstrable experience in a Finance Operations role within a regulated entity or within the fintech industry, with a deep understanding of the importance of control over data integrity, systems architecture and the reconciliation process.
Key responsibilities

Daily oversight of the review of reconciliations of all key asset and liability accounts

Daily reconciliations of deposit and withdrawal transaction by clients

Resolving reconciliation breaks between systems and records
-
Responsible for tracking and processing the status of system deposit and withdrawal transactions

Instantaneous liaison with customer service to deal with customer deposits and withdrawals

Responsible for the adjustment and processing of any deposits which have been wrongfully allocated

Troubleshooting as required. Dealing with ‘unallocated’ client deposit as per Standard Operating Procedures

Cooperate with the distribution and processing of market and other activities

Ensure compliance with SOX process documentation and continuing reviewing processes. Suggest ways to improve quality of reporting

Respond to all enquiries in a timely and accurate manner and ensures that the Settlement team renders an effective service to internal and external stakeholders

Working closely with the Group finance teams, perform reporting & analysis

Following operational policies, procedures, and processes with view to drive for tighter controls, further efficiencies/automation, and risk mitigation.

Effective triaging and resolving and queries / issues

Manage confidential information in an appropriate and professional manner
Experience & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field is preferable

Advantageous if the candidate has prior experience within financial services or crypto industry in similar middle office / back office functions

Familiar with back-office operations, regulatory requirements, and operational risk management

Have a keen sense of risk and a good ability to identify risks

Have good logic analysis ability and communication and expression skills

Work commitment, energetic, innovative spirit, strong pressure resistance, strong sense of responsibility and teamwork awareness

Familiar with Internet finance and traditional financial services

Prior experience in digital assets is a plus

Proficient in Excel (V-lookup and Pivot Table)

Knowledge in Java / Python / SQL / Google Apps Script is a plus
