Head of Digital Experience Europe (m/f/d)
YOUR RESPONSIBILLTIES:
- Lead and coach the Digital Experience team to bring our strategy to life through ownership and delivery of an intuitive, engaging, and enjoyable experiences across EU digital customer touchpoints in our 20+ European markets.
- Responsible for co-creation of the EU Digital Strategy alongside the Senior Director of Ecommerce, Head of Digital Marketing, and Head of Digital Product.
- End to End UX ownership across EU digital customer touchpoints, including oversight and distribution of friction audits to support x-functional optimization of core user journeys.
- Maintenance and dissemination of a clear understanding of customer segments, behaviors, and triggers.
- Drive clear prioritization and execution of CX immediate, midterm, and long-term initiatives.
- Deliver both in year optimizations in response to consumer, market and business needs while driving long term requirements for consumer journey transformation across people, processes, and tools.
- Lead the team to ensure ongoing improvement of the consumer journey through a clear content strategy and optimization of key touchpoints such as product rankings, navigation, and filters to help the user discover Birkenstock.
- Lead the planning, prioritization, actioning, and insights synthesis of our A/B Tests including scaling winners.
- Strong collaboration with key functions of Digital Marketing, Digital Product, Merchandising, Buying and Direct-To-Consumer Analytics teams across key strategic initiatives (e.g., membership).
YOUR PROFILE:
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional work experience in Ecommerce consumer experience, an in-depth understanding of design expertise and best practices across both desktop and mobile, including key levers and KPIs
- Proven track record in leading, building and developing high performing digital Ecommerce experience teams and a collaborative mindset to foster a constructive team environment where diverse backgrounds, skills and perspectives are brought together to achieve a common goal
- Previous experience designing, monitoring, and improving the experiences specifically in Membership / Loyalty, Omnichannel, and Relevancy / Personalization as well as a deep history and passion for customer centricity in everything you do
- Passionate about tech and CX as shown by staying up to date with the latest UX and eCom best practices and technology
- Strength in balancing delivery of a holistic strategy while executing in-season needs
- Action-oriented, strategic thinker comfortable defining the future and willing to challenge the status quo
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into insights and business actions
- Confident in working with UI/UX (e.g., Figma), Project (e.g., Jira, Confluence), A/B testing, and Analytic (e.g., Google analytics, Tableau) tools
- Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus
