In this exciting chapter of continued growth and expansion for Chase, we’re looking for a passionate Senior Digital Designer who will be responsible for creating and assisting in the creation and delivery of a range of Marketing Campaign assets across multiple channels.
In this role, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team of designers and copywriters working closely with the Marketing and Growth teams.
The successful candidate will be a creative thinker with an awareness and interest of current design trends in the Financial Services market as well as wider retail space. They will explore what’s new and what’s possible whilst adhering to our Brand Vision and Tone of Voice. A balanced understanding of our brand, our customer needs, technology, and design is a must.
Job responsibilities:
- Creating brand design work and presentations across multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Working side by side with other designers and writers on idea creation, design execution and maintaining a creative team culture
- Partnering with marketing colleagues on creative briefs across paid, earned and owned channels
- Confidently manage and own projects from brief to delivery, working with multiple stakeholders
- Maintain strong working relationships with team members, internal stakeholders and external creative agencies for cohesive communication and effective design outcomes
- Ensure design guidelines, systems and other best practices are followed throughout the design process
- Ability to present design decisions effectively to team members and stakeholders and confidence in justifying your work
- Quality check and proof all design and production output to ensure completed work is error-free, meets the brief and achieves the desired design standards and brand guidelines
- Peer reviewing design work within the team as well as receiving team feedback
- Enhance all designs to meet the firm wide accessibility standards
- Work with Compliance and Legal stakeholders to maintain full awareness and understanding of appropriate legislative approvals needed for relevant channels, ensuring all materials are consistent with legal conditions and codes of practice.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience working in an in-house design studio or creative agency at senior-weight level for around 7+ years, delivering comprehensive large scale multi-channel projects with a strong consumer focus.
- Excellent oral and written German and English skills at a level that allows effective communication and collaboration in a fast-paced environment, conveying intended experiences and solutions to stakeholders of different seniority across the company.
- Expertise in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
- Animation skills (After Effects) are a must-have. Video editing (Premiere Pro) is a nice to have.
- Able to work flexibly and in an agile way to respond to urgent and last minute requests.
- A strong portfolio featuring static and animated assets across all digital touch points and marketing campaign projects which demonstrate good project management, design processes and a passion for maintaining brand consistency.
- Mentor and support other designers within the team.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Relevant experience in a banking or financial industry is a plus.
- Experience leading teams and mentoring team members
- Experience defining design best practices, guidelines and processes.
- Experience of working in Agile teams – Familiarity with Atlassian suite of software (Jira & Confluence) is desirable.
