Job Description
We are looking for an exceptional Junior Brand Consultant who will drive the growth of the Local Champion Brands of zooplus. By working in close collaboration with our Vendor Managers and having much space for creativity, you will support our vendors with 4 main pillars: assortment, content optimization, promotion & marketing, consulting & reporting.

As a Junior Brand Consultant, you will be involved into:
- Reviewing product listings and identifying gaps in the vendors' product offerings.
- Ensuring the creation of new product listings and updating existing content to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Creating a promotion and marketing calendar based on the vendor's objectives and the company's overall marketing strategy.
- Tracking and analyzing the performance of promotion and marketing activities to identify areas for improvement.
- Analyzing traffic channels to identify areas for improvement and developing action plans to optimize performance.
- Identifying opportunities to participate in campaigns and deal planning.
- Optimizing detail pages for search and browsing by updating search keywords, refining product attributes, and improving navigation.
- Suggesting recommendations for improvement based on industry trends, customer feedback, and competitor analysis.
- Supporting in informing vendors about Z+ services and supporting their participation.
- Supporting in providing monthly data reporting and basic digital insights.
- Assisting in identifying potential expansion opportunities to other countries.
- Collaborating with other team members to create a joint business plan to achieve vendors and Z+ yearly priorities.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree in a business-related discipline
- Ideally, 1+ years of relevant work experience in Category Management, Vendor Management, or Marketing, ideally in retailing or the pet industry; experience working in an e-Commerce is an advantage
- Fluency in German and English
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking and the ability to structure and handle multiple topics at the same time
- Ability to unlock complex issues and to work proactively on proposals, solution thinking
- Ability to understand customer needs and market requirements to enhance the customer experience
- Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
- Ideally, experience in teamwork and guidance of business partners with proven authority
- Highly polished communication skills - speaking, writing, presenting, and negotiating
- Product and industry knowledge in the pet, retail, or FMCG industry
- High intercultural competence
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
