As a Junior Consultant HR – Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, you will play a crucial role in advancing our commitment to creating a human-centric, inclusive workplace. As part of the Corporate Responsibility team, you will support various organizational units, plan and conduct DEI initiatives, and help implement strategies to foster a diverse and equitable environment across Riverty.
Key responsibilities:
- You support the further development, execution, and evaluation of a comprehensive DEI strategy as part of Riverty’s Corporate Responsibility strategy, ensuring it aligns with overall business goals.
- You regularly assess HR practices, policies, and procedures to identify areas for potential bias and recommend adjustments to promote DEI throughout the employee lifecycle.
- You collaborate with recruitment and talent management teams to design and implement strategies that attract a diverse pool of candidates and promote diverse talent within the organization, ensuring equitable hiring and promotion practices.
- You collaborate with the people analytics team to monitor and analyze key DEI metrics, assessing the impact and progress of initiatives and making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
- You develop and deliver trainings on DEI topics to educate and empower employees and managers, serving as a change agent and fostering an inclusive workplace culture.
- You support our current employee networks and assist in developing additional networks to enhance community and belonging within the organization.
- You facilitate internal and external communication regarding DEI initiatives, ensuring transparency and promoting Riverty’s commitment to DEI.
- You act as a point of contact for DEI related internal and external inquiries.
Profile:
- First experiences in DEI roles or related fields (e. g. through an internship or working student role), with strong understanding of DEI principles and best practices
- Culturally competent and sensitive, with the ability to navigate complex issues with empathy and professionalism
- Excellent communication and social skills, with the ability to collaborate trustfully with stakeholders at various functions and levels
- Data-driven way of working and analytical skills to assess data, measure progress, and make informed recommendations
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to take ownership and lead multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Excellent presentation and moderation skills, feeling comfortable presenting DEI-related topics in front of an audience
- Fluency in English, German is a plus
