Your responsibilities
- Leading the Asset Rotation & Partnering team to prepare and execute acquisitions of early to late stage renewable energy projects and portfolios as well as divestments of 0.5-1 GW plus p.a. to accelerate and optimise Uniper's project pipeline as part of the "develop, build and sell" business model and to provide investment opportunities for Uniper
- Responsibility for renewable energy M&A activities and partnering opportunities (including identifying targets, taking responsibility for the M&A process) and managing the interface with Uniper's corporate M&A function
- Development of capital recycling and financing partnership concepts (e.g. yield co/asset co structures), as well as financing concepts
- Leading cross-team negotiations on transaction structures and commercial terms with counterparties together with relevant stakeholders
- Ensuring the transfer of commercial insights and best practices between the teams and the entire Uniper organisation
- Foster optimal collaboration within the Uniper Renewables team, consisting of developers, engineers, offtake managers, market and strategy analysts, as well as a network of external partners
- Reports to the Senior Vice President Asset Commercialisation at Uniper
Your profile
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or comparable studies
- Extensive relevant work experience in management positions and proven track record in the renewables sector in either M&A or an commercial role
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Deep understanding of economic drivers of utility scale solar-PV and wind assets as well as commercialization options
- Creative and open-minded individual with a good sense of humor
- Proven track record of international work experience and appreciation of cultural differences
- High mobility/willingness to travel internationally
- Business fluency in English
