As a Logistics Data Analyst (m/f/d), you will play a role in the development of key business indicators related to the transportation operations. You will need to interface with a diverse set of stakeholders including - business, IT experts and operations teams. To be successful, you should demonstrate the ability to balance excellent analytical and technical skills while clearly driving communication and collaboration with other key partners. As a member of the team, you will also have the opportunity to leverage your passion for data to create high impact solution designs.
In this role, your key responsibilities are
- Develop a very good understanding of freight operations while maintaining effective relationships with business owners/sponsors in this domain.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to gather requirements and ensure alignment on logistics strategies and operational needs.
- Design, build-up, and maintain reporting target solution mockup documentations to enhance process efficiency.
- Analyze data pertaining to freight operations, derive insights, and present findings to stakeholders, providing actionable recommendations.
- Continuously monitor and assess logistics performance metrics, suggesting and implementing improvements as necessary while partnering with business teams/stakeholders to improve data assets, quality, metrics, and insights
- Act as an effective contributor in developments done via Agile SCRUM Project Management methodology.
- Initiate, manage, and participate in User Acceptance Testing for developed solutions, including validation of programs before implementation.
- You have a degree in an analytical discipline.
- You have good understanding of road freight or any other supply chain/freight operations.
- You have 3-4 experience in a similar position
- You are proficient in Excel (VBA, Macros, SQL connections) databases, and have a high-level understanding of reporting in BI tools & MS office
- You have experience using Agile/Scrum/KANBAN methodologies.
- You possess strong analytical skills, show a passion for metrics and figures, and can work effectively within a global, multi-cultural, cross-functional program in virtual teams.
- You are proficient in English (both spoken and written) and can present and negotiate with all stakeholders at a professional level.
