Job Description
The Commercial Director adds value to the growth activities by identifying new commercial opportunities within its region. He/she will keep abreast of trends and market conditions to provide strategic advice to upper management.
The goal is to manage the regional sales team to reach set targets, expand the company’s commercial activity that will generate revenues and lead to sustainable growth.
Business: - Manage the regional sales team to achieve targets for all Movu Robotics solutions including iFollow, E.scala, Atlas 2D and its racking solutions, Warehouse Execution Software and others
- Support the regional sales team in closing commercial contracts, ensuring profitability targets are met, risks are identified and managed, offers get validated and released technically/commercially/legally, and DOA’s are respected
- Develop and implement commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives aiming to accelerate growth
- Conduct market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities (expansion, business development etc.)
- Understand the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being met
- Act to acquire new customers and manage client relationships (new and existing)
- Collaborate with diverse teams (sales engineering, project execution, marketing, customer service,…)
- Build and maintain profitable partnerships with key stakeholders
- Monitor performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports for senior management
- Assist in setting financial targets and budget development and monitoring
- lead by example through your individual performance and behavior, providing staff with clear guidance and direction;
- provide coaching and supports development and continuous improvement at a team and individual level
People: - Coaching of regional Sales Managers to build cohesive regional teams with mixed competencies to support all business needs
- Optimizing the use of everyone’s talent and potential to grow in the organization
- Making sure that the people with different backgrounds (e.scala, iFollow, 2D, …), get the same mindset.
- Clarify the role/expectations from each team member and define clear KPIs
Qualifications
Qualifications and experience :
Proven experience as a commercial manager
At least 10 years experience in an assembly environment
Self-motivated, flexible, proactive and committed
Strong problem solving skills and logical approach, excellent organizational and leadership skills
Degree :
Relevant master degree
Languages :
Fluently English and German, Dutch is a plus
